October Festivities

October started with a trip to the pumpkin patch!  Of course Parker's favorite part was the train ride.  I swear it's the only time you can get this kid to sit still.

Looking for the perfect pumpkin!  He loved running up and down the aisles of pumpkins and wanted to pick up only the heaviest pumpkins.

We also made a trip up to San Francisco to meet our friends and go on Parker's first ferry ride to Sausalito.

One October morning, Jake and I were deep in conversation and realized Parker was a little too quiet in his bedroom.  This is where we found him.  I'm still not sure how he climbed up there... he really loves brushing his teeth so he was so happy to be up there with his toothbrush.

A trip to a really fun park in Los Gatos:
Parker was so excited to ride the train and he waited very patiently for his turn!

He started waving good-bye to the other kids waiting in line.

We made another trip to the pumpkin patch to play on the haystacks, run through the corn maze, and of course, ride the train again.

Parker has been a such a fun kid.  Jake and I had such a great time taking him to the pumpkin patch and seeing trains.  He loves shouting, "All Aboard!" whenever we talk about trains and yells, "Blast Off!" when he sees airplanes.   Parker is talking so much these days that Jake and I sit at night and talk about all the new things we've heard him say!  I feel like each night I'm telling Jake a new thing I heard him say that day.

He is going through a huge attached phase and wants me to hold him all the time.  He climbs on me to give me hugs and kisses for no reason and in the car wants me to reach back and hold his hand.  All very cute, but it can be exhausting - and a little scary.  I'm wondering how he'll react to the new baby.  He knows the baby is in my belly and he likes to kiss my stomach and say, "come out baby."

Halloween pictures to come....
